(Integrated Services Digital Network) service. ISDN is a system
of digital telephone connections. ISDN is adequate for videoconferencing
and other high bandwidth applications. The cost of the actual
physical ISDN line is additional and separate from the access
service and is obtained from the local telephone company.
The cost of the line carries a higher cost than a normal phone
service line, and special equipment is required. |
