Midwest Computer Solutions, Inc. was established in September 2001, one week prior to the 9/11 tragedy.
Needless to say, the startup was extraordinarily challenging. By December 2001, all the startup money
was gone and in desperation called out to God to breathe life into the business, lead it and use it
as tool for ministry. Immediately things changed and my company has experienced consistent growth
ever since.
I understand our business has a greater purpose than information technology. It is about helping
people and the business is merely a means to do that. Care and mentoring of employees, systematic
charitable giving to local faith and human needs organizations, unwavering ethical business practices
and honest care for customers are but a few of the characteristics our business tries daily to live by.
We have locations in Columbus and Seymour, Indiana. We employee 7-10 of the finest people and technicians.
We have hundreds of faithful business and residential customers, annual revenues are just under 1 million
dollars, we have built over 700 workstations, dozens and dozens of servers and have several hundred internet
service customers.
Our staff experience is varied and vast, though we attempt to stay focused on “the little guy” who does
not have benefit of an IT department. We operate internally not only as a team but a family. We do our
best to get to know our customers and treat them like friends.
Finally, I thank God for our employees, customers and those yet to come. I hope our business can be an
instrument of grace to our customers and community. We are “here to help”
Sincerely,
Tom Ganus
